![]() ![]() I like the Malwarebytes extension and I would like to be able to use it again full-time one day and recommend it to others if this problem is fixed one day. This problem is pretty annoying for me and has prevented me from using the Malwarebytes extension for long, I have to keep disabling it, and so I usually give up using it until the next version comes out hoping that it will be fixed. This conflict is still there, I was asked to report it here when I emailed Malwarebytes again to see if this bug was on the list of bugs to be fixed. I am not sure if this happens on Firefox too or not because I do not have Firefox installed. When I disable Malwarebytes For Chrome this problem goes away, but if I have it enabled then the problem returns so I either have to keep manually entering the title every time I want to save a video or I have to disable the Malwarebytes extension. ![]() I would like to report a possible bug with the Malwarebytes For Chrome browser extension (previous version and current version) where it seems to conflict with the Video DownloadHelper extension for Chrome () so when you click to download a video with that extension the name in the Save As Box will be random numbers (example: 348546) instead of the name (example: Flying Cat Video) that is displayed in that extension before you click to save the video. support for Periscope auto-capture has been removed (the ability to launch overnight a capture of many Periscope videos based on a search query).Endpoint Detection & Response for Servers. The official 5.5.0 release will of course support the ~30 languages this development version is only available in English.recording HLS streams is CPU intensive (tech note: the H264 video frames have to be reformatted on the fly from the addon's javascript) so you might not be able to record many videos in parallel.Even better, in most cases, several qualities are available for a same video so you can pick whichever fits your needs best. In both cases, you end up with a single MP4 file, without even the need for the external converter. ![]() We are happy to announce that VDH can now handle those streaming protocols. HLS (.ts files) is more dedicated to pure live streams like Twitch or Periscope, but is also sometime used to serve already-recorded videos.DASH (.m4s files) is used on sites like Vimeo to serve fixed length videos. This is due to the fact that with the announced death of Flash, video hosting companies are migrating towards HTML5-compatible technologies that allows adapting the video quality to the user's bandwidth in real-time.Ģ technologies in particular become very common: (Update: replaces the original announcement for 5.5.0a13 / 5.5.0a14)Ī number of users complained about seeing more and more often a load of small video pieces appearing in the VDH download list instead of a single entry representing the full video. ![]()
